Thanksgiving is over. The leftovers are in Tupperware and zip locs, the good china is back in place, and the relatives are packing up. It’s time for a trip to the attic! Let the decorating begin!
My sweet little niece (in an earlier picture from the spring) has a passion for all things pink and spent the holiday with us. She gravitates toward pink like a bee to honey. While we were out shopping, she found a pink Christmas tree and I started thinking. Wouldn’t it be fun to let our “inner pink child” loose on Christmas decorations?! The front door might look like this.

I love this one made with vintage tinsel and ornaments. The front door is our first opportunity to say “welcome to Christmas”. I’m already working on mine!
I hope you will join me for Deck the Halls this Tuesday, December 1 and every Tuesday until January 5! I’ll be hosting a fun party to show off our decorations, those we’ve visited, or simply those that inspire us. The rules are relaxed—it’s a casual party :) I’ll be posting Mr. Linky on Monday night by 8:00 p.m. central time. I hope you will make plans to join the fun!
Join Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for more pink fun. Thank you Beverly!
I love your pink decorations Susan. I would love to link up to your Deck the Halls party too! Thank you so much for the invitation.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a great Thanksgiving.
Best wishes always, Natasha.
Hi Susan! I love the pinkness! Who doesn't need a pink Barbie and all the Christmas decor to match?? I'll be hooking up with you for Deck the Hallls! Happy weekend...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday Susan...
ReplyDeleteI so love this post. The wreaths are just precious. Isn't it wonderful to be a child at heart? Nobody can do it better. Make us like a child again to open our eyes to what should be fun, and not a job, joyous and not painful, and fun not glum. I love it.
Please stop by and say hi. I so love the company. Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
Love your pink wreaths, so Barbie!
ReplyDeleteI'll be joining in the fun come Tuesday and have added your Christmas button to my blog to spread the word.

I think my mom, rest her soul, was ahead of her time. Totally traditional, she shocked us one year by buying a silver tree for the basement and she decorated it with PINK balls! We always got such a kick out of that.!!
ReplyDeleteI have started to clear out the Fall decor..but I have to do a thorough cleaning of each room before I put up Christmas..a tradition!
I'll be with you Tuesday!
These are beautiful images, Susan. Pink is such a pretty change from red...could the two possibly coordinate somehow???? Naw.
ReplyDeleteI am excited about your event. Don't know if I will have anything the first time around, we'll see.
Happy PS!!
