I know most of us (including me) haven’t gotten the last Halloween decoration put away and the Thanksgiving menu is still on the “to do” list, but I love Christmas. So I’m dreaming…What if Christmas looked like this?
And the tree was covered in these?
Or this?
And the mantel was hung with this?
And the front door greeted you with this?
And the table was set with this?
And this?
Wouldn’t it be fun?

p.s.—I am posting a little early…I will be painting on Friday and Saturday…and I don’t mean portraits or landscapes :)
I thought maybe I slept through Friday:) I had a white tree for a few years (as an extra) and I loved decorating it in fabulous colors. The pink tree is amazing. I recently saw a gold tree and fell in love with it. Oh, the possiblities.

I do not envy you painting - oh, it makes my muscles ache to think about it! What lovely pink Christmas ideas. When my great nieces were little, we had an all pink, girly tree. The Christmas tree skirt reminded me of a pink tutu - lots of layers of pink netting and silk ribbons. Hope the painting goes smoothly and that you have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhen you finish painting I will give you a key to my home - I have lots of painting jobs on my to do list. :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteSusan, I have a good friend who always does pink. She has collected pink Christmas things for years because her house was full of Piere Deux fabrics and Cowtan and Tout. It is truly adorable, and she even found plates that work for Christmas in pink. So I had to smile at this.
