Mini Metaphorphosis

Susan at Between Naps on the Porch is hosting Met Monday. This is my first and just a little one. This is the chest in my entry hall and the first thing you see upon entering the front door. Today I finally had a little time to spruce it up for Easter! The top picture is the way it usually looks.

I added a couple of my favorite bunnies and an Arthur Court egg. I, of course, left the cross because that is the reason for the holiday. The Arthur Court egg was given to me by a friend the first year we lived in this house. It is part of a series and has the year etched on it.

It seems the one metamorphosis I cannot manage is to turn this picture! Oh well, I am learning slowly but surely and appreciate your tolerance. Now visit our hostess Susan at http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ Thanks Susan!

  5. Welcome to blogland, there is ALWAYS something new to learn. I also started in Jan 09. But I am fortunate to have a 16 year old son to call when I can't figure out what to do. Used him just this morning. Thanks for stopping by my place and have a great day, Candy

  6. The Arthur Court egg is beautiful, even sideways!!

If you have Paint on your computer, you can rotate your pictures easily. Open you picture in Paint. On the menu bar, click Image, then select Flip/Rotate. Click Rotate By Angle, and then select the angle you want to flip the picture by (either 90 or 270 to flip a sideways picture so it's upright). Then click OK, and you're done :-) Sounds like a lot of steps, but it's easy :-)

Thanks for visiting our blog :-) I hope it won't be too long before I can show everyone my finished loft :-)

  7. Good Mornin' Susan! I love bunnies! Yours are adorable! I'm impressed you found the time to do even this change with all the wedding stuff! I love that Arthur Court egg! I've never seen those before! And that lamp is gorgeous! Come by anytime at Curves and say hi and we still need to go to lunch sometime when you're not so busy with the wedding! God Bless you today Susan! Lauralu :)
