Blue Monday...You Don't Want To Miss This

I ran across this exciting news this weekend and didn't want you to miss it! I thought Smiling Sally was the perfect hostess to let the cat out of the bag....or the dog out of the Snuggie :) Now, I know if you have a television in your home, you have to be familiar with this.

It's Snuggie--the blanket with sleeves in a fashionable shade of blue! You know the one: Blankets are okay, but they can slip and slide--plus your hands are trapped inside!

It's the latest craze--all the really fashionable people are doing it! But did you know that now Fido has options?

Yep, now Snuggies for dogs are available for just those times when "Your dog needs to go out, but it's a cold chilly night. A sweater could help, but they pull and they're tight". It's made in the same fashionable blue fleece!

Don't let this dog's expression fool you! He loves his Snuggie--he just happens to be on a serious covert assignment at the moment. Of course, if you insist, the Snuggie does come in pink.

It's the perfect thing for those cold winter nights. Poor Fifi--her phone didn't ring this week for a Saturday night date. But with her Snuggie, a bowl of popcorn, and Lifetime tv she will survive! If you hurry, you and your pet can have matching Snuggies before Old Man Winter arrives. Crazy?--You bet! Here I sit smugly making fun of it. Somebody is going to make a bunch of money.....I bet they laugh all the way to the bank...why didn't I think of this? :)

  1. That's so cool! My mom always talks about us needing Snuggies since we're always so cold in the winter. My little pug is always cold too, so maybe I'll get her a Snuggie. I didn't even know they made them for dogs.

  3. This is too funny, and you're right the creator is probably going to laugh their way to the bank. I'll have to look for this at our Minnesota State Fair in a few weeks. I bet it will be there. ~ Robyn

  4. I think I'll skip the Snuggles ---I can just put on a sweater. And, well, I think dogs have fur to keep them warm. But I liked your blue photos for Blue Monday.

  6. Oh my goodness!! That is just to silly. However, it does occur to me that if your hands are free you would be better able to help fido with his snuggie.

  9. Hi Susan, I love your blue today. Living in the mountains gives us lots of snuggle days. I'm willing to spend some money to get hip so I can snuggle too. Since we are getting a baby poodle in the fall I think I will need pink for our baby. I wonder how small they come. Thanks for the heads up.

  11. One of those snuggies would be great to have. I can be wrapped up and still do my stitching! Thanks for visiting me today. And yes the cloths still work. I use a lens cleaner with it and that helps to get the job done. Besides they don't scratch my glasses. I don't dare use kleenex anymore.

  12. I simply cannot fathom that sane people actually purchase these crazy things!! For people OR pets... Yeah, I'm so sure I would wear one to a football game. uh huh... Put on a sweatshirt or a sweater, for heaven's sake. LOL What a fun post.

  13. Look how adorable on those little dogs! I don't think they would be useful here in Florida, but you are right, it is a great concept that will make someone lots of spare change! Will you buy some for Jessie and Charley?

  15. How funny. The dogs are irresistible, but tell Fifi that too much popcorn is a no no. It could lead to spread and another dateless night. I hope you are having a great day.

  29. Hi Susan,
Your post made me smile. I'd never heard of a Snuggie! A fellow could sip hot chocolate without taking his hands out from under the blanket! Might just have to have one!
