I ran across this exciting news this weekend and didn't want you to miss it! I thought Smiling Sally was the perfect hostess to let the cat out of the bag....or the dog out of the Snuggie :) Now, I know if you have a television in your home, you have to be familiar with this.
It's Snuggie--the blanket with sleeves in a fashionable shade of blue! You know the one: Blankets are okay, but they can slip and slide--plus your hands are trapped inside!
It's the latest craze--all the really fashionable people are doing it! But did you know that now Fido has options?
Yep, now Snuggies for dogs are available for just those times when "Your dog needs to go out, but it's a cold chilly night. A sweater could help, but they pull and they're tight". It's made in the same fashionable blue fleece!
Don't let this dog's expression fool you! He loves his Snuggie--he just happens to be on a serious covert assignment at the moment. Of course, if you insist, the Snuggie does come in pink.
It's the perfect thing for those cold winter nights. Poor Fifi--her phone didn't ring this week for a Saturday night date. But with her Snuggie, a bowl of popcorn, and Lifetime tv she will survive! If you hurry, you and your pet can have matching Snuggies before Old Man Winter arrives. Crazy?--You bet! Here I sit smugly making fun of it. Somebody is going to make a bunch of money.....I bet they laugh all the way to the bank...why didn't I think of this? :)Please click here to join Sally for more Blue Monday!
That's so cool! My mom always talks about us needing Snuggies since we're always so cold in the winter. My little pug is always cold too, so maybe I'll get her a Snuggie. I didn't even know they made them for dogs.
ReplyDeleteOh, how cute...I did not know they made these for dogs....maybe I need to get a couple of these! Have a great Blue Monday.
ReplyDeleteThis is too funny, and you're right the creator is probably going to laugh their way to the bank. I'll have to look for this at our Minnesota State Fair in a few weeks. I bet it will be there. ~ Robyn
ReplyDeleteI think I'll skip the Snuggles ---I can just put on a sweater. And, well, I think dogs have fur to keep them warm. But I liked your blue photos for Blue Monday.
ReplyDeleteSee my Blue Monday photo for this week HERE.
My girlfriend received one of these for her birthday last month. I have a dachshund so the one photo above tickles me. Hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!! That is just to silly. However, it does occur to me that if your hands are free you would be better able to help fido with his snuggie.
ReplyDeleteToo funny , Susan !
ReplyDeleteI love the dogs the best - I better get some for my pups !
Kammy
Correct! Someone is going to make a mint! That dachshund is just precious! Happy Blue Monday.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan, I love your blue today. Living in the mountains gives us lots of snuggle days. I'm willing to spend some money to get hip so I can snuggle too. Since we are getting a baby poodle in the fall I think I will need pink for our baby. I wonder how small they come. Thanks for the heads up.
ReplyDeleteHugs...Jeanne
so cute love it
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
Have a great week!

One of those snuggies would be great to have. I can be wrapped up and still do my stitching! Thanks for visiting me today. And yes the cloths still work. I use a lens cleaner with it and that helps to get the job done. Besides they don't scratch my glasses. I don't dare use kleenex anymore.
ReplyDeleteI simply cannot fathom that sane people actually purchase these crazy things!! For people OR pets... Yeah, I'm so sure I would wear one to a football game. uh huh... Put on a sweatshirt or a sweater, for heaven's sake. LOL What a fun post.

Look how adorable on those little dogs! I don't think they would be useful here in Florida, but you are right, it is a great concept that will make someone lots of spare change! Will you buy some for Jessie and Charley?

I am looking forward to the season coming that we will need these. Looked down at your last tablescape...a perfect visit from my blue & yellow dragonfly, she would enjoy ;-) somewhere over the rainbow...love that recording!
ReplyDeleteHow funny. The dogs are irresistible, but tell Fifi that too much popcorn is a no no. It could lead to spread and another dateless night. I hope you are having a great day.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Thanks for sharing this delightful Blue Monday post.

Priceless! I wish I had thought of it too. I'm not sure my dog would go for it.

I am very familiar with the snuggle blankets, for me. Did not know they made them for pets. Your little dog looks so cute. Happy you had time to drop by post today. I appreciate your comment.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in. If there is anyone you would like to pass the ATTA GIRL award to just let me know.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan, what a darling blue post for today.I love all of the cute snuggle blankets you have found for ourselves and our furry friends!!I must buy myself one before cold weather..thanks for sharing and visiting my place today...
ReplyDeleteThis is to funny...The princess at my house would not stand for it....
ReplyDeleteI cannot stop laughing. My stomach hurts now. I have to go find my Shuga one.
ReplyDeleteWait, I can't breathe, I am laughing to hard! Murphy Grace wants one in red.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan! This is just too cute!! I've thought about getting one of those for my DH! He's always cold now since he started taking blood pressure medicine! I'm ready for another girl's day! My mom loved her blouses!! I was out of town over the weekend so I'm going to go check out your other post! Love Ya! Lauralu :)
ReplyDeleteCute post. Think I will pass on one of those - I would probabley get tangled up in it. I don't even like the real thick long robes - I know, I'm wierd. :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteYour post made me smile. I'd never heard of a Snuggie! A fellow could sip hot chocolate without taking his hands out from under the blanket! Might just have to have one!
Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, especially for older people who feel the cold so much.
As you say. why didn't you think of this and make yourself rich!
Have a great week
Hugs
Carolyn
Those photos are amazing! How cute.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed visiting!

Our family received those cozy blankie thingies one year. We had a lot of fun. Nice blue. I like the doggie sweater best!
ReplyDeleteThe inventor of this is laughing all the way to the bank! Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I've seen them advertised as a "slanket."
ReplyDeleteThey're basically robes put on backwards. I can't stop giggling... too too funny about the pups.
ReplyDeleteHappy Day :-)
I am laughing out loud! Now I'll never get to sleep, thinking about those snuggies for dogs!
